Valentine’s Day. For many, it’s a day of love, endless joy, <\/p>\n\n\n\n
and doting on those we hold dear. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Chocolates, flowers, handmade cards, <\/p>\n\n\n\n
and words of affirmation pepper the atmosphere. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
For others, it’s a reminder of the hurt from the past,<\/p>\n\n\n\n
when possibly a heart was torn in two <\/p>\n\n\n\n
that left a weary soul grasping for love<\/p>\n\n\n\n
not knowing what else to do.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
For those a change of heart is needed<\/p>\n\n\n\n
and maybe even a reminder of God’s love.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He’s there to mend a heart broken<\/p>\n\n\n\n
as he rains down love from above.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Sometimes finding love in our lives<\/p>\n\n\n\n
means letting go of the past<\/p>\n\n\n\n
in order to move into the future<\/p>\n\n\n\n
to find hope that will last.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
So commit to letting go of pain <\/p>\n\n\n\n
and realize it is our own choice<\/p>\n\n\n\n
to release the hurt and sadness<\/p>\n\n\n\n
and help our broken heart rejoice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Find folks who make your heart happy<\/p>\n\n\n\n
and allow peace to enter in.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
There is someone waiting out there<\/p>\n\n\n\n
just longing to be your friend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
When days like today bring sadness and pain,<\/p>\n\n\n\n
just know it doesn’t have to be.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
You can choose happiness again<\/p>\n\n\n\n
and set your hurting heart free.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
